Description:
 
Ixia is seeking a seasoned sales leader with extensive sales experience in the Internet &Could segment and burning desire to win. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for winning in the fast-growing Baidu, Alibaba and Tencent who are the top leaders in the industry by leveraging Ixia’s strengths and expertise gained with international top customers such as Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Google, Netflix ... The role requires prospecting plus extensive interaction with senior level customers, channel partners and technology peers to develop a robust pipeline of business. The sales pipeline must be managed in a highly professional manner to provide prospects and customers with an exemplary experience as they make their buying decisions.
 
This position requires an individual to do the following:
 
·        Build, lead and grow your own book of business, selling to our top Cloud accounts. Leverage and drive significant growth potentials in the territory, achieving or exceeding quota.
·        Engage and influence Baidu, Alibaba and Tencent in their technology and business innovations and Hyperscale Datacenter build-outs, both Test and Security as well as in the Visibility domains.
·        Develop and manage strong and impactful executive relationships within your assigned segments, including decision makers, architects and key influencers, looking for opportunities to add value for the customer and develop additional revenue.
·        Collaborate well with Ixia’s Product Management, Solution Architects, Business executives, and technical and channel partners, so as to bring synergies of Ixia solutions with the Chinese Cloud industry.
·        Define, execute, and own an engagement plan for key prospects.
·        Vertical identification and research, to formalize a go to market strategy and create qualified growth targets.
·        Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement, while creating satisfied and referenceable customer base.
 
 
Required Skills and Experiences:
·        Prior 5-10 years of proven sales experiences in a similar territory and industry
·        Demonstrated sales account management experience with a track record of exceptional achievement.
·        In-depth understanding of the Internet and Cloud segment, security, networking and virtualization
·        Experience in a complex sales environment, managing large, visible, demanding customer accounts.
·        Knowledge and hands on experience of network test, cyber security and/or visibility knowledge will be advantage
·        Strong communication skills to work with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
·        Minimum Bachelor’s level education
·        Understands the hierarchy and culture of customer and supplier organizations and is able to identify the decision makers and influencers
·        Retains objectivity and proper understanding of a problem or situation when placed under conditions of stress
·        Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment and mobilize cross-functional high performance teams
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English is preferred
