Client Profile :
A Global ICT vendor from China....
Position Responsibility & Output Requirement:
1. Working as a mobile network evolution expert towards SDN/NFV architecture.
2. Responsible for exploring, developing and nurturing the consulting capabilities within the Mobile Broadband Network Consulting (MBB NC) Department.
3. Gathering customer requirements and leading the corresponding capability development and strategically important consulting projects with customers.
4. Working with other departments to provide inputs of SDN/NFV developments and customer requirements. Acting as a consulting expert to customer on company SDN/NFV solutions and roadmap.
5. Tracking the latest developments of the technology and standardization as well as providing the industrial insights.
6. Correlating other innovative technologies, such as 5G, Big Data, IoT and cloud service, to form a complete mobile network evolution strategy for Operator.
First 6 months – Leader or major contributors for at least 2 NFV/SDN projects. Develop main slides for SDN/NFV market insight and technology evolution roadmap. Presentation in an industry forum .
Basic Requirements:
1. More than 15 years experience in mobile network, ideally end-to-end strategy and evolution, covering Wireless, Backhaul, Core and BSS and Service platforms etc, with at least 3 years in SDN/NFV environment.
2. Knowledge of 4.5G and 5G developments will have the advantage but not compulsory. Relevant experience in IT and Cloud Service will be useful.
3. Suitable candidate may be come from major mobile infrastructure vendor and mobile Operators. Academic research experience will be considered but only supported with practical product and solution development experience.
4. Bachelor degree or above in Engineering or relevant science
5. Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing) and strong customer communication skills.
