Position Responsibility：
The Client is looking for a release manager to help us develop open source SDN/NFV orchestration software. Working with the Technical Steering Committee, this role will be responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of multiple projects into regular software releases in a fast-paced, mission-critical delivery environment. This role will help determine release milestones, processes, and documentation, and track progress, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate with interested stakeholders (including the Board of Directors, Technical Steering Committee, Project Technical Leads, Committees, etc.) to ensure successful delivery of the release package on schedule.

• Work with TSC and project leads to plan and execute projects, identify dependencies, and ensure that projects are delivered on time
• Provide detailed and timely status updates to stakeholders
• Encourage cross-project collaboration
• Identify risks and help teams develop contingencies
• Coordinate code delivery, build, and test activities and schedules
• Conduct regular process improvement meetings, identify concrete changes for future releases, and share best practices across teams.

2.2 Position requirements
Basic Requirements	Education background	B.Sc./M.Sc.in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or similar relevant discipline;
	Work experience	5-10 years of previous project/program management experience in software engineering or release engineering
	Language (optional)	English can be used as working language
	Skill appraisal (optional)
	Professional certifications from third parties (optional)	Project management certification preferred (PMP, ASAPM, Scrum Master, etc.)
Professional Knowledge	Professional knowledge	Advanced knowledge of Agile/Lean development methodologies. Previous engagement with open source projects is preferred. Familiarity with open source continuous integration tools (e.g., Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Maven, etc.) 2-3 years of SDN/NFV development experience
Key Skillset	Professional skills	Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills Prior DevOps experience preferred Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira and version control systems such as git
